Before Booking

Please review the following information before scheduling an appointment with Ascending Minds Psychiatry. These policies help ensure a smooth experience and allow us to provide timely, high-quality care to all patients.

  • Ages Served: 12-65

  • Telehealth appointments available throughout Virginia

  • No controlled substances prescribed (including stimulants, benzodiazepines, and opioids)

  • All patients are required to register for Spruce Health, our secure HIPPA-complaint communication platform.

  • Full Payment is due prior to each appointment.

  • A valid credit or debit card is required remain on file for all active patients.

  • Appointments with outstanding balances may be cancelled or rescheduled until payment is received.

  • Appointments canceled with less than 48 hours’ notice and missed appointments, are subject to a $125 fee.

  • To ensure continuity of care, patients with two or more missed appointments may be subject to discharge from the practice.
